Focused on Boseto
Discovery Metals is focused on becoming a copper producer through the development of the Boseto copper project. Botswana is recognised as one of the best countries in which to develop and operate a mine. This places Discovery Metals amongst a very small group of companies with quality copper assets in low risk countries.
On successful completion of the Bankable Feasibility Study in August
2010 Discovery Metals immediately commenced construction of the Boseto
Facilities. Commissioning of the plant and delivery of the first
copper-silver concentrate to market is expected in the first half of
2012.
Separate to the construction of the Boseto facilities, Discovery Metals
will advance other value adding opportunities including exploring the
remainder of the Kalahari Copper Belt and assessing the prospective
manganese prospecting licences in southern Botswana.
